About PMC Index

PMC Index is an unofficial index of Escape from Tarkov player profiles. It ranks tracked profiles on leaderboards, follows who unlocks achievements first, and gives every tracked player a stat page, for both the Season and PVP modes. It is not affiliated with Battlestate Games.

Who runs it

PMC Index is built and run by Thilo Becker in Berlin (thilo.design). It started because the in-game leaderboards only show the top of one stat at a time, and there was no way to see where a given player stands across all of them.

Where the numbers come from

Profiles come from tarkov.dev's public player database. tarkov.dev fetches a profile from the game when someone looks it up there and publishes the result. A profile joins PMC Index after that first search; nobody can add or edit stats by hand.

The index currently holds 3,010,402 profiles: 39,359 Season and 2,971,043 PVP. Most of the PVP count is older accounts that have not played since the 1.0 wipe; they keep their achievements but are left out of the stat boards.

How often it updates

tarkov.dev publishes changed profiles once a day, shortly after midnight UTC, and PMC Index picks them up within the hour. On top of that, the top 100 of every board and every profile opened here in the last 48 hours are re-fetched several times a day. The details of who is ranked and why are on How the rankings work; dated site changes are in the changelog.

What it does not do

There are no accounts, no paywall and no premium tier, and player data is not sold. The only sign-in is the optional Twitch connection streamers use to link their channel to their profile. Ads pay for the database, hosting and storage; the privacy page lists everything the site records about a visit.
