How the rankings work

Every number on PMC Index comes from a player's public profile. This page explains which profiles are ranked, which are left out, and what a rank on this site does and does not mean.

Which profiles are ranked

Season boards only rank profiles that have played since the current season started on 2026-08-03. PVP boards only rank profiles that have played since the 1.0 wipe on 2025-11-15. The game keeps lifetime totals on every profile, so without this cut an account that stopped playing years ago would still sit at the top of the raids or hours board.

Achievement boards (Achievements and Seasonal achievements) are the exception. The game never wipes achievements, so every tracked profile counts there, active or not.

Minimum raids

K/D and Survival rate need at least 20 raids. A ratio over a handful of raids says more about luck than about the player: one good evening would otherwise put a new account above people with thousands of raids.

A rank compares tracked profiles only

A profile is tracked once someone has searched it on tarkov.dev. Rank 1 on a board here means first among tracked profiles of that mode, not first among everyone who plays the game. Right now that is 39,359 Season and 2,971,043 PVP profiles. Well-known players are almost always searched, so the top of each board is close to complete; further down, gaps are more likely.

Boards show the top 500. Tied values share a rank, the same way as on profile pages, so two players on 1,000 kills are shown at the same place.

League weeks

The League board ranks Season profiles by XP gained since the weekly reset on Sunday 21:00 UTC. Promotion is decided within a League rank, so the filter by rank shows the race that matters for a given player. Each finished week gets its own frozen board. XP at the exact reset time is estimated from the nearest snapshots on either side, so a finished week is refined as late snapshots arrive and is final one week after it ends.

Excluded accounts

Accounts removed for abuse are taken off every board, achievement page and sitemap, and their profile pages return not found. Accounts with a known ban show a ban notice instead of their stats and do not get first-to-unlock credit.

The Sus radar is not a ban list. It is a plain filter: at most 1,000 hours, at least 40 raids and a PMC K/D of 6 or more. Very good players land there next to cheaters, and nobody on it is reported or excluded from the boards.

Freshness

tarkov.dev publishes changed profiles once a day, and PMC Index picks them up within the hour. The top 100 of every board and every profile opened here in the last 48 hours are re-fetched several times a day on top of that. Each leaderboard shows when it was last recomputed.

What the data cannot show

A profile is only as current as its last fetch, so a player who stopped being searched can look a few days behind. Profiles that nobody has searched are not in the index at all. The game does not publish per-raid history, so anything over time (weekly XP, rank trends) is built from the snapshots PMC Index has seen, and is estimated between them.
