Which Tarkov plate lasts longest? See how every class 5 and 6 stacks up for durability and what you can actually buy in Season. Sound off below: what do you run, and why?
What the video says
In Tarkov, armor plates for Season characters all start with class, but how long they last comes down to material. Class decides what gets through, and material decides how long it holds up. Polyethylene wears slowest per point of damage, and ceramic wears fastest.
Class six, ranked by how long they last: NESCO on top, then Termite and GAC. NESCO 4400-SA-MC is the best plate in the game, with about a hundred and sixty effective durability, but it’s loot only. Cult Termite lands just 2 points behind the NESCO and weighs a bit more, also loot only.
GAC 4sss2 is almost a kilo lighter than the NESCO, but gives up 12 points of effective; that’s also loot only. Granit Br5 is the best ceramic, and the ceramic wear still keeps it at a hundred effective; only found as loot. Kiba Arms Steel is five kilos and somehow lasts less than the Granit, also loot only.
Class five, ranked by how long they last: TallCom, then Locust, then GAC. TallCom Guardian heads up class five at around a hundred and forty-seven effective; you’ll need a Ragman level three barter for a BD dogtag Ferrum and a 14-4 KORD SSD. Cult Locust is 2 points behind and a kilo lighter, and it’s loot only.
GAC 3s15m is under a kilo, lighter than any class five or six plate, and comes from a Ragman level three barter with a 14-4 KORD SSD and a BD dogtag Green. Korund-VM is steel at a hundred and fourteen effective, and you’ll see it for about ninety-one thousand roubles on the flea. Granit 4 is ceramic at eighty-three effective, either as a Ragman level three barter or for about a hundred and twenty thousand roubles on the flea.
What you can actually buy: every class six plate is loot only, but Guardian, GAC 3s15m, Korund, and Granit 4 you can barter or find on the flea. Remember three materials, polyethylene, combined, and titan, and six plate names: NESCO, Termite, and GAC 4sss2 for class six, TallCom, Locust, and GAC 3s15m for class five. Which plate do you run, and is it because of the weight or the price?
